Business Information And Resource Center

The reference collection at Mathews Memorial Library includes current published sources of business and financial information, with a core collection of small-business materials.  There are references covering economics, personal finance, stocks, mutual funds, real estate preparation, management, accounting, and manufacturing. The collection contains business directories, periodicals, newspapers, stock and mutual fund advisory services, company information, industrial surveys, and annual reports. Coverage is on the local, national, and international level.

By searching the
Business & Company Resource Center database it is possible to locate articles on companies, emerging trends, and financial commentary. Fee-based computer-assisted information retrieval searches can provide an even more refined search strategy.
